Plot: a group of “kids” go to a corn maze after hours for a game of tag with deadly results! lol i couldn’t help myself
First off kids is in quotation marks because they are all at least 30! Second the killer isn’t scary at all due in no small part to the fact that he looks 12 and any of them should have been able to stomp him out. Every time someone falls it’s mega injury time! There is no blood, which isn’t always necessary but in a movie like this, it is. There is zero character development and no real point. We sat there wondering why they followed the maze and didn’t just run through the corn. The end of the movie slows to a grinding halt compared to the rest of the movie where the first cop on the scene grabs the first person he sees and whisks them away, never mind if anyone else needs help and who cares about the fire. The one who is whisked away suddenly can’t talk, no denial of crime, no questions, no nothing. The movie took itself way too seriously and the twist is ridiculous, i won’t “ruin” it here, watch it if you dare. If you are looking for a payoff between beginning and end, look elsewhere, no dots are connected in this.
Tara almost didn’t hate it with a score of 20/100, i flat out despised it and gave it a ZERO
