Santa’s Slay (2005)

Written and Directed by David Steiman.

Starring Bill Goldberg, Emilie de Ravin, Fran Drescher, Chris Kattan, James Caan, Rebecca Gayheart, Douglas Smith, Dave Thomas, Saul Rubinek and Robert Culp.

Plot: Santa is actually a demon who lost a curling match. Yes you read that right, but time runs out on the bets outcome and Santa wants revenge.

Don’t let any preconceived notion stop you from watching this movie! It is well made and a lot of fun. I personally love it. The soundtrack is awesome. The kills are really innovative and they aactually use pop culture references really well.

Highly original, great cast, and good Freddy Claws. Easily re-watchable with a good story and a great opening and ending. Also a top notch script.

If you want to have fun with a violent Santa in a somewhat silly movie with an entertaining story then this is great!! I urge you to give this one a view as I hold it in high regard with a score of 91/100, Tara also enjoyed it with a score of 77/100

About DJVoorhees13

I don't believe in long winded reviews. I love Jason Voorhees. My favorite Friday is Friday 4: The Final Chapter (even though it isn’t), but I even like Friday 5: A New Beginning. I know the killer is not technically Jason, but you gotta love little Reckless and the blonde woman who keeps throwing him around. My guilty pleasures are Return of the Living Dead Parts 1 – 3. I know they’re not everyone’s favorites, but I can watch them over and over again with no reprieve. I also happen to think that Return of the Living Dead 3 characters Julie and Curt have one of the greatest love story ever told. When I’m not watching horror movies, I’m usually watching old TV shows or reading books/comics. Currently watching Star Trek: Voyager and reading anything by Dante Alighieri.
