Written and directed by Dark Libra. Starring Braeden Baade, Anna Crysell and CJ Forst.
Plot: it is a quirky little spoof of Twilight, but instead of a vampire, he’s an angel and a wolf… LOL
This is a short film. About 25 minutes long. And it’s hilarious. Now, I liked Twilight. Our mother was addicted to the last movie for the longest. But this spoof is fuckin’ spot on. So, there’s this skinny white girl and she’s in the woods and she comes across a pale white guy in a tree. She immediately falls for him even though he tells her he’s a wolf. Then, not such awesome stuff happens.
The story is confusing, especially toward the end. The black and white is beautiful though and they should get an award for managing to shoot this all on an iPhone. We have a lot of questions after watching this though. We won’t tell you guys any of them cause you should have the pleasure of watching it yourself, but we are assured that Dark Libra is working on a sequel. And we can’t wait to get some answers. DJ has some theories that I think sound really good and we want to know how close to the truth he is.
It’s corny, but funny. There are obvious Nosferatu homages that work nicely. It’s got likable characters, decent acting (especially the guys, although Anna did well for an acting virgin), a really scary voice that totally creeped me out and even though the werewolf costume was so obviously fake, that mask was hideous and he’d shown me who he was, I would have run screaming right out of those woods.
We’re not sure what the rules were and it was completely unrealistic, BUT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE! It was fun to watch. We really enjoyed it. We gave it a 72/100.
